I met Katie and her mom last year at a wedding show, and we made such a sweet connection right away. I was so delighted when Katie asked me to be her wedding photographer! What made me more excited was that she wanted a unique location for her bridal portraits. After some searching and decision, we landed on The Craggy Mountains in North Carolina. I love adventurous  brides! We took the drive and explored the mountain overlooks together. The yellow wild flowers were in bloom, and we could have gawked at the gorgeous blue ridge for hours. Katie had a special family heirloom veil, and I couldn’t help but tell her that she looked like the beautiful character, Rose, from Titanic
