So, ‘Encanto’ has currently become my favorite modern animated Disney movie over the past year. It’s just so charming, set in colorful Colombia, beautifully animated, and all the songs are catchy hits. I immediately wanted to do a creative shoot recreating one of the characters, Isabela, with her ‘flower powers’. If you’re a fan of the movie, then you definitely know! I did a DIY project in my spare bedroom with florals draped and hanging from the wall in the colors from the film. We had the most perfect dress at the time from Ohh La La Dress Rentals, and my cousin Kensleigh became the magical ‘Isabela Madrigal’! Last year, I even did a self portrait inspired from the main character, ‘Mirabel’ =)
