I had the pleasure of capturing a recent dreamy, styled elopement in Hickory area, North Carolina, and what a romantic event this was! If couples want a more intimate setting, have most of their loved ones out of state or country, or just want to forfeit the planning of accommodating so many guests, then eloping may be a great option! I was so grateful I got to capture this beautiful, overcast day with all of the delicate details that were displayed along the woods of this venue. The Pointe at Lake Hickory is a new North Carolina property with lakeside views, giving you a feeling of a romantic ‘back yard’ wedding. It’s truly a hidden gem of a venue in the Hickory, NC area. I loved the earthy shades of warm rust and berry tones. Just beyond the couple’s sweetheart table, we had another dainty table full of mouthwatering cakes and pies, drizzled with glazes and blackberries. I loved the toffee colored floral bouquet and the second bridal look that was gorgeous in soft, rosewood pink. To make things even more majestic, we had a horse on the property for the couple during sunset.
