This past year of 2021 (which FLEW by!) we did something new, which was book more sessions in any holiday lights we could find! I loved it. Being surrounded in dreamy lights during the holiday season has become one of my favorite things I look forward to. When Autumn hits, I usually have a bucket list of fun things I must do each Fall, and now, doing photo shoots in the midst of lights is a bucket list item for the holiday season. Not only do I love Christmas lights, but getting to photograph my clients in them just makes me so happy.

Aubrey and Nathan loved the idea of having a sweet engagement session in the Daniel Stowe Botanical gardens during their annual holiday festive lights display. I must say this was one of my fav sessions of the season. It was whimsical, beautiful, and full of all the ‘holiday feels’ + major ‘Nutcracker’ vibes =) The two sipped hot cocoa, danced, kissed, and strolled through the gardens. We had a great time, and I loved visiting the gardens for the first time as they were dressed in thousands of glittering lights. I’m looking forward to going back again and their wedding day!!
