What an awesome couple! I enjoyed getting to know Chris and Mee So over the past year, and I’ll never forget when Mee So texted me a picture of her wedding dress. I got wide eyed, and we laughed because it was my same wedding dress I wore! Then she proceeded to tell me, “We’ve decided to serve a Korean food buffet — will that be okay?”… Uh, YES of course! Mee So just has great taste all around, and we connected right away! They were married on a chilly day this past Fall at Serenity Lake Estate in Concord, North Carolina. I absolutely love when couples read their personal vows to one another, and that’s what these two did. They also honored Mee So’s parents as they bowed together in traditional Korean culture. Though it was chilly, I’m so glad they were up for making some photos during sunset. One of the sweetest things during their reception — besides the amazing food — was the dance that was shared by all six of Chris’s sisters. Their mother passed away, and each sister took her place in a heartwarming, tear jerking moment by dancing with Chris. We were all crying as they danced to ‘Mama’ by Boyz II Men.
