Ashley and Andrew were married on a breezy Autumn weekend at one of Rock Hill’s loveliest venues.

The Riverwalk Event Venue, formerly known as Brakefield at Riverwalk, is beautifully nestled along the Catawba River. It offers a small viewpoint of the river just beyond its outdoor ceremony site. The serene and picturesque views around the venue are great for wedding days!

There’s just enough elegant design around and inside the property, featuring a grand Grand Hall that’s ideal for many occasions. The bridal suite brings in beautiful ambient light through the floor to ceiling height windows. The architecture around the venue is quite nice with stone texture and regal charm.

I’d say it’s one of my top favorite wedding venues.

The bride adores vintage cars, so they were driven away in a nostalgic cream Chevrolet with red interior. Myself and the bride were kindred spirits because of our shared love for ‘The Child’ a.k.a. ‘baby Yoda’. When she first reached out to me, we discussed our fandom over the Disney tv series, ‘The Mandalorian’. If you know, you know. When Ashley brought her baby Yoda plush doll dressed in a tux, I knew it’d be a super fun day!

This day was full of soft sunlight as it filtered through the trees, casting a glow over the outdoor ceremony. We took a moment for Ashley & Andrew to have a ‘first look’ with one another as they laid eyes on each other for the first time that day. We then got to secure a few special bride and groom portraits before the ceremony.

Guests were welcomed with seasonal colors of deep burgundy, burnt orange, and cozy mustard and greens. As the evening settled in, the celebration moved indoors to where laughter and dancing carried on late into the night.

A+A are a couple of sweethearts and such a fun couple to make photo memories with! Both their families were seriously some of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m honored I got to capture this special day. Congrats to the Cooleys!
